Finalmente Geoff Keighley anunciou ao vivo a lista com os finalistas do The Game Awards 2023. Júri e gamers já podem votar em seus jogos, streamers e produtoras favoritas. A cerimônia de anuncio e premiação dos vencedores será no dia 7 de dezembro.
No anuncio mais esperado, a dos indicados na categoria de Game do Ano (GOTY), os indicados são Alan Wake 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4, Super Mario Bros. Wonder e The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Em um ano com tantos jogos bons que poderiam estar nesta lista, estes indicados já podem se orgulharem desta colocação.
Este ano a Nintendo é um dos destaques, não só pelas 15 indicações que recebeu, mas principalmente por colocar dois jogos exclusivos nesta lista do Melhor Jogo do Ano, um feito e tanto para a empresa.
